The Baltimore Bibliophiles will be celebrating their 72nd year at their Annual Meeting on Saturday, November 7, and they would love for WRBG members to join them. The cost is $27 per person, and payment must be submitted no later than Wednesday, October 14th.

The Bishop Payne Library at Virginia Theological Seminary is hosting a book launch and reception on October 21st, and would like to invite members of the Washington Rare Book Group to attend. The event will feature the new book, Turning Points in Prayer Book History, with comments by one of the authors, Rev. Matthew S.C. Olver. It will also include a display of rare copies of the Book of Common Prayer from the 16th and 17th centuries.

Clare Imholtz was a long-time, devoted member of the Washington Rare Book Group. We will all miss her scholarship, enthusiasm, and generous nature. We look forward to seeing some WRBG members at the service.
